The PD35 Contemporary Loft Hatch provides a sleek, maintenance-free solution, engineered with insulation that fully complies with Building Regulations Part L.
Thermal Performance & Compliance (PD35):
• Part L Compliance: The PD35 variant achieves a certified U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, fully meeting the current thermal requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for new build properties.• Draught Sealing: The slim, hinged frame is fitted with compression seals designed to actively prevent draughts and reduce heat loss between the frame and the lid when closed.

Hinge section is too flimsy door drops off on hinge side if knocked. Going to have to adapt it

This is quite a flimsy hatch, the clips broke while fitting. Fortunately we've replaced the hatch for aesthetics only and won't use the loft space, but if it was a hatch we'd use regularly, I'd have requested to return the item and bought a sturdier one. On the plus side it was very easy to fit, looks much better than the old wooden one, and the service from the company for delivery was excellent.

Nice quality item at a good price. On removing the old hatch, we found that the ceiling had been over boarded, so could not use the fixing holes in the upstand flange without extending them with metal brackets from a DIY shop. Once fitted it looked good and operated well. Would be nice if it came with a pole to operate the catch...

Speedy delivery and good hatch.would be 5 star with a pole to open but modified our old one so hey ho away we go.

Looks alot better than the make shift one that was starting to fall to bits. Easy to install. Just be carful when installing that the door doesn't fall out(mine did). I had to made a slight adjustment, by putting a small screw into one off hook bits on the door to make it sit in tighter so as it doesn't fall off. Very happy as looks better and great price.
