Fitting Information:
- Trim out a suitable opening that is 5mm larger than the access panel dimensions. Form and fix a 4 sided frame behind the opening, finishing flush with the edge of the opening.
- The inner edge of the frame has pre-drilled fixing holes for easy fitting.
- With the panel door open to 90 degrees, offer the frame up to or into the opening and push firmly to ensure the frame is flush with the face of the wall.
- Fix using 8no 50mm screws through the counter sunk holes within the internal fixing frame. Do not over tighten the screws and if necessary, use packers.
- Pay particular attention to the lock/catch side and ensure the catch still engages and the frame has not been warped by over tightening of the screws.
- Once fitted the fixings are concealed.
- Close hatch and use flat headed screwdriver to engage lock.
