Economy Fire Rated Access Panel — Ceiling Use
A budget-friendly fire rated access panel for ceilings, made to order in sizes up to 600 x 600mm.
- 90 minute fire rating (face side), tested to BS 476: Part 22 in a ceiling construction
- Complies with Part B of the Building Regulations
Fire tested to BS 476: Part 22: 1987, face side only (Test no. BTC22501F, 02.03.2023).
Material & finish 0.9mm Zintec steel door, powder-coated white (RAL 9010) with a satin finish — a tough surface that's easy to wipe clean.
Hinge One spring pin hinge and one fixed pivot. The spring pin lets you remove the door without any tools.
Locking Budget lock as standard: an 8mm square insert opened with the supplied plastic T-key. A 90° turn lock giving a single locking point between the door and frame.
Frame & dimensions 25mm picture frame, 30mm depth. Made to order up to 600 x 600mm.
Fitting The inner edge of the frame has pre-drilled fixing holes for easy installation, and once fitted the fixings are concealed. Allow roughly 5mm over the panel size when forming your structural opening — e.g. a 500 x 500mm panel fits a 505 x 505mm opening. The door is removable to make fitting easier.
