Metal or plastic — two round options
We stock two types of circular access panel. The metal panels (SCAP models) are Zintec steel and designed specifically for ceiling installation — ideal for reaching services above suspended or plasterboard ceilings, with a neat round finish. The plastic panels are moulded from UV-stable polymer and are both airtight and waterproof, which makes them the right choice for bathrooms, showers, wet rooms and saunas.
What they give access to
Behind that round door you can reach the concealed services a building relies on — electrical and lighting, alarm, CCTV and data cabling, light fittings and pipework — for inspection and maintenance without disturbing the surrounding ceiling or wall. The circular shape also gives a cleaner, more discreet look than a traditional square or rectangular panel where appearance matters.
Sizes and fitting
Fitting is straightforward: measure the opening, secure the panel with the appropriate fixings and finish flush with the surface. Each product page lists the sizes available.
