What roof hatches are for
A roof hatch provides safe, secure access onto a flat or low-slope roof — for maintenance, inspections, servicing and, where needed, emergency egress. They're essential on any building with rooftop equipment to reach: HVAC plant, solar panels, and the like. When closed, the hatch keeps the roof's weather protection intact; when open, it gives a safe route up without the risk of working off an external ladder.

Sizes, options and lead times
We carry a good range of roof hatch sizes, and some models can be made to custom sizes where a standard won't fit. Lead times vary by product: in-stock hatches can often go out for next-day delivery if ordered before 2pm, while stainless steel, powder-coated or bespoke hatches are made to order and take longer.
