The PD35 Contemporary Loft Hatch provides a sleek, maintenance-free solution, engineered with insulation that fully complies with Building Regulations Part L.
Thermal Performance & Compliance (PD35):
• Part L Compliance: The PD35 variant achieves a certified U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, fully meeting the current thermal requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for new build properties.• Draught Sealing: The slim, hinged frame is fitted with compression seals designed to actively prevent draughts and reduce heat loss between the frame and the lid when closed.

Good quality hatch and used as wanted low profile as hatch is in main hall. Only criticism is that there is a slight dip in the center of the frame - at first i thought it was the plaster but checed and the central part of fram was about 1mm lower. This creates a slighly uneven gap but to be fair once filled with caulk it is not noticeable unless you look for it. Without this would have been a 5. The service from team is good with quick delivery

The hatch was delivered quickly and fits well. It has a slight plastiky feel to it, but once installed actually looks quite nice. It is easy to install and operate.

Arrived quickly, clear instructions to fit. Built the frame slightly larger by a few mm and great! Fitted lovely looks better than I could’ve made myself with mdf. Very happy

There seems to be some confusion between the written description of the product in relationsion to the physical dimensonsd of the product and the technical drawing that goes with it. The most important dimension is the physical opening size in the ceiling. I got it right more by luck than the information provided.
