The PD35 Contemporary Loft Hatch provides a sleek, maintenance-free solution, engineered with insulation that fully complies with Building Regulations Part L.
Thermal Performance & Compliance (PD35):
• Part L Compliance: The PD35 variant achieves a certified U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, fully meeting the current thermal requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for new build properties.• Draught Sealing: The slim, hinged frame is fitted with compression seals designed to actively prevent draughts and reduce heat loss between the frame and the lid when closed.

I perfect replacement which sets off the landing. Easy to fix in place even for a 78 year old. Will certainly recommend this product

To be honest, I'm going to have to replace it with a better one at some point. I selected the thickest foam and the loft hatch didn't even close with the largest foam set in, and I've had to hack away at it with a bread knife so I can actually fit it and close it. I know it was cheap, but there's cheap and good value, then there's cheap cheap. This is so cheap it's just some plastic glued to some polystyrine. I honestly expected something a little neater, and at least expected it to open/close without hacking away at it with a bread knife lol. It looks so awful, will be replacing it with a custom one at some point soon. Edit: After some chat, they were very helpful and nice about the issues and have fixed them so all is good. I think they might have sent me a dodgy one by accident.

Bit flimsy and still had to do some remedial work to fit the current loft hole but can't complain for the price. Looks better up
