The PD35 Contemporary Loft Hatch provides a sleek, maintenance-free solution, engineered with insulation that fully complies with Building Regulations Part L.
Thermal Performance & Compliance (PD35):
• Part L Compliance: The PD35 variant achieves a certified U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, fully meeting the current thermal requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for new build properties.• Draught Sealing: The slim, hinged frame is fitted with compression seals designed to actively prevent draughts and reduce heat loss between the frame and the lid when closed.

Decent quality - not substantial but 'man enough' for the job. Surprised no means to open it from floor level - the one it is replacing had a hooked handle for turning with the ladder retriever, so this will be less convenient than before but cosmetically a big improvement. The door seems to 'bow' a little, and sits proud of the frame a tad, but other than that fine

Hatch delivered quickly fits well and good quality. Would agree with previous reviewer in his “flimsy” description but would say that once fitted it is substantial. Lightweight construction ideal for fitting.

Wanted to replace our old hatch which was too small to take our loft ladder. Very pleased but extrusion Mark was a little excessive. However, Jupiter Blue once contacted about this gave excellent service, replying to emails immediately and offering a replacement hatch or £15 refund. Would recommend Jupiter Blue to anyone.

Was decorating and the old loft hatch just well needed changing, found these on line and the price of course attracted me but the speed of delivery was amazing even in these tough times, the product fitted well, only issue was the insulation that I had to trim to allow for the loft ladder. Great product easy to fit great service, highly recommended

The whole process was Super efficient. Speedy delivery. Loft hatch/ access really easy to install. Catch is a bit tricky to open and shut but I like it as I know it’s secure!
