The AL3C is a high-specification, counterbalanced loft ladder providing superior safety and control, suitable for domestic use up to a floor-to-floor height of 3 metres.
Enhanced Safety & Operation:
• Counterbalanced System: Features a spring-assisted 'Easy Stow' system, ensuring total control and smooth, effortless operation when lowering or stowing the ladder.• In-Loft Handrail: Includes an essential in-loft handrail for added safety and stability when transitioning into or out of the loft space.
• Access Pole: Supplied with an access pole for positioning the ladder, which also functions as a hatch pole for our plastic loft doors.

• Height Capacity: Designed for floor-to-floor heights up to a maximum of 3m (9'10").• Weight Limit: Approved with a maximum weight limit of 150Kg (23.6 Stone).
• Compliance: Approved to the European safety standard EN 14975 (superseding previous BS standards).
• Installation: Suitable for DIY installation, including all necessary components and easy-to-follow instructions.
• Clearance Requirements: Requires a minimum clearance arc of 0.71m (2'4") and a reduced minimum storage space of 1.12m (3'8") when stowed.
• Usage Note: Suitable for domestic use only. When using an insulated hatch, ensure the ladder is installed high enough to avoid contact with the hatch lid.

Simple to fit with two people. Clear instructions. Long pole included. Easy stow system makes it very simple to pull down in a controlled manner.

Really plead with the ladder and with the service received from the company - everyone I spoke to was so helpful. Delivery was on time and not tooooo expensive which is important as an island dweller! Only thing is a bit of a shuggle/wobble pulling it down or pushing it up. The person who installed it for me couldn't work out why as he followed the instructions implicitly. Thank you and I will recommend your company to others.

A quality product that was delivered within the timescale given. Fitted easily by my builder. Looks to be of quality and is easy to operate and stow. Would recommend this firm and this product.

Help and advice on best combination of drop down hatch and ladder was appreciated and both arrived within 24 hours of ordering. It was installed by a joiner who had no problems and is very easy to pull down and push up, with secure fixings. The hand rail is well positioned and we are very pleased so far.
