The AL3C is a high-specification, counterbalanced loft ladder providing superior safety and control, suitable for domestic use up to a floor-to-floor height of 3 metres.
Enhanced Safety & Operation:
• Counterbalanced System: Features a spring-assisted 'Easy Stow' system, ensuring total control and smooth, effortless operation when lowering or stowing the ladder.• In-Loft Handrail: Includes an essential in-loft handrail for added safety and stability when transitioning into or out of the loft space.
• Access Pole: Supplied with an access pole for positioning the ladder, which also functions as a hatch pole for our plastic loft doors.

• Height Capacity: Designed for floor-to-floor heights up to a maximum of 3m (9'10").• Weight Limit: Approved with a maximum weight limit of 150Kg (23.6 Stone).

A little more difficult to install than the hatch but eventually we managed.

Suitable for my purpose. You need to take care when securing the ladder brackets to the hatch loft frame, but totally achievable. I built up a small frame under the end of the ladder to tilt it so that I could pull the ladder down easier. Good buy.

Competitive price, fast dispatch and rapid delivery, so good service. I've had the ABRU equivalent of this ladder in a previous property and that was robust and easy to use. Now in a new house I decided to go for the same again. This ladder is slightly less robust meaning that it's lighter, but it's adequate for the job. It was easy to install, but the lever arm pulls the ladder too far into the loft and too flat for it to be pulled out again with the hook provided. I've had to place a box under the ladder in its stowed position to tilt it and move the centre of gravity forward. This was never a problem with the previous ladder so I wonder what has changed.

Initially it seemed a bit light and flimsy but actually is perfectly adequate and steady for my 16 stone. No problems fitting and easy to use.

Not getting any younger so decided to get one of these to save me having to swing up into the loft like a chimp. Easy enough to fit. Had for around three weeks and no complaints.

Bought this to avoid carrying ladders in / out of the house. Works well and the power lift means that it's not too heavy to stow away. One word of caution - don't be tempted to call any of the manufacturer help line numbers - they are unobtainable.

Excellent quality and the price is fair, strong construction compared to others and really safe locking system. Comes with a kit to convert existing hatch cover to open and lock includes the hinges and catch mechanism as well as a pole. Fantastic
