Bought a made to measure loft hatch, the price was very good and the fit is excellent, really pleased!

I’ve asked for a refund on my order and I have not received yet I ordered and cancelled as soon as they said it will be Monday for delivery I always use you but I needed to access panels quick so I had to buy them off the shelf I did not realise the time is 3 pm cut off for next day delivery

I had looked everywhere for a decent insulated hinged loft hatch but could not find one in about of the usual DIY shops or even online. Then I came across this site and they had what I wanted. The hatch is slimline and fits nice and flush to the ceiling. It's airtight and the insulation is very thick which is great. I tried installing it myself but had to admit defeat because I couldn't hold the surround in place while trying to screw in the screws so I got my dad to help me. He was in the loft holding it in place while I fixed it in place. I then closed it to make sure it was a tight fit and he could hardly hear me talking when it was closed! Lovely bit of kit, get a helper to give you a hand to install it and you are set.

Good product, as advertised and with good delivery time. The reason this isn't a 5-star review is because the printed instructions said that the aperture to the loft should be measured only after lining it with plasterboard. This information is not included in the online instructions that I read when making the order, so I measured according to that. Luckily, my fitting worked without plasterboard, but otherwise it could have been a disaster. If that information was in fact in the online instructions, then please forgive me, but I don't remember seeing it anywhere.

undoubtedly I chose the correct loft hatch and the speed of the supply was beyond my expectations. The finished product looks well, and I am a satisfied customer. One irritating item was the pole for the general lock. It is not comfortable to use and I have to stand on a stool due to my smallish stature, and I suppose my age, being nearer 90 than 80. My hand was sore for two days. A minor point but you did ask!!!

Very good customer service and product but they really need to change their courier who outright ignores their delivery schedule and obligations.

Superb service as always, third time I have ordered products from the same company over the past year and will order again in the future.
