Excellent loft hatch, literally took minutes to remove the old and put in this new one. Made an opening tool from a piece of dowel with a grove cut in the end, works a treat

Thanks guys. We purchased a made to measure loft hatch door. All okay with order and delivery. Just three minor issues. 1/ No instruction leaflet inside, although fitting all obvious to a knowledgable fitter. 2/ Insulation/aluminium foil damaged by latch that closes the door. Surely there should be a protective sleeve around latch? 3/ The hinge system requires updating. There is a need to put split grummets between the frame and the door to avoid the door moving laterally from side to side. That is, there is too much play in the gap resulting in the frame securing screw being hit by the door.
