Excellent service, very easy and quick to fit.

I ordered a bespoke loft hatch on Sunday 25th Feb, it was delivered on Tuesday 5th March so it was a quick turn around for made to measure. The product is excellent quality and was very easy to fit. It looks really smart on the ceiling and has made a big difference to the look of our landing area. I am really glad that we opted for the aluminium insulation cover as it finishes the hatch off lovely. I had a question so I emailed the company on 8th Match during installation and received a response within a few minutes. Excellent service, would use again and will definitely recommend. All ready for the plasterer and decorator! Thanks guys

The product arrived very quickly and fitted like a glove. The measuring instructions were helpful and allowed for correct installation.

Good quality made to measure loft hatch. Looks great! My only comments would be (1) Fitting would be easier if it were possible to remove the door. I did see that this was possible with cheaper plastic hatches - not sure if there is some reason why it isn't possible with metal doors but I would have thought there would be a way. (2) The lock is very stiff. I have fitted the screws correctly and the frame is not distorted. It does say that the hatch might stand proud for a few months whilst the draught proofing settles so I assume that it what is causing excessive pressure on the catch, making it stiff? This could perhaps have been mentioned. The catch also rotates counter-intuitively - clockwise to unlock, anti-clockwise to lock - possibly intalled 90 degrees out?? (3) No advance notification that the parcel had been dispatched. I had given instructions to leave in garage if I was out. Luckily I was in because I wouldn't have left the garage unlocked as I didn't know it was coming!
