SDS Bespoke Loft Hatch

Being able to order custom dimensions helped greatly as our hatch aperture was irregularly sized. Savings were made avoiding joinery / restructuring. The product itself was well made, affordable and came in good time despite custom manufacture. Installation was possible easily with two people. Hopeful that it'll reduce airflow between living space and loft as intended (a significant insulation / heat loss / condensation issue).

I've received my bespoke attic hatch and have to say I'm most impressed with the build quality. Whilst not cheap (compared with a plastic one) it it well worth the outlay. I'm impressed with the 'tight' manufacturing tolerances, welded corners and overall finish. I would strongly advise you to include a 'Made in Great Britain' label on the inside face. You should be proud to produce quality like this. It makes a fantastic change not to have something made in China for a change!!! 10/10 Excellent product

Excellent product, very easy to fit. Easy to use and looks good

Obtained two of these hatches, one for our house and one for our daughter's. The quality and finish is good, and they were straightforward to fit. The 760mm length makes it easier to get in and out of the loft, and it was straightforward to cut the plasterboard a little and refit the wood cross pieces, to accommodate it being longer than the old hatch. Worth doing if you have a smaller opening currently. At the \reduced\ price they are good value.

This is a good quality product. It arrived on time but unfortunately the corner was damaged. The company replaced the product without any trouble. The only criticism was that the delivery time is so long, but this is a bespoke made product. It is just disappointing when the replacement delivery time as added. I would buy this product again for this company if I needed another.

Ordered this as needed a custom fit and what an excellent product. It is slimline and has a sleek white look on my ceiling. Good quality and fits perfectly, just the job!!

I had to buy bespoke because the size of my existing opening could not be replaced by any cheaper off the shelf types available. Took care to make sure my measurements were correct, and when delivered it slotted into my wooden frame perfectly, I had one small problem, when I tried to close the Hatch the tongue of the catch was too long to slot fully home and was hitting my wooden frame, meaning only a corner of the tongue was holding the cover in place. Not being happy leaving it like this I chiseled a small slot in the timber allowing the tongue to turn fully home, I assume the catch was inserted too close to the edge of the cover. I am really happy with the end result, I now have a dust, draught and insulated Hatch that looks really good on the ceiling. A quality product that was easy to install.
