• Part L Compliant Choice (LT235): Achieves a U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, meeting the current regulatory requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for new build properties.
Design, Function & Maintenance:
• Aesthetic Profile: Features a traditional, decorative frame with a flat lid, suitable for properties where a classic ceiling fixture is preferred.• Construction: Made from durable white injection moulded plastic, ensuring a seamless finish that requires no decorating or maintenance.
• Draught Resistance: The frame is fitted with compression seals that hold the lid firmly against the frame when closed, minimising heat loss.
• Operation: Easy to open and close with a simple turn of the catch.

I wasn't too happy with the quality of the product. The insulation was simply polystyrene and the plastic was very flimsy. I accidentally damaged the insulation and did not bother going for a refund, but I'll be looking for a different loft hatch instead as I don't think it will keep the flat cool in the winter. That's probably on me for not reading the description well enough though. This is definitely a budget option and if you're looking for budget then that's up to you

Very lightweight luckily as hatch does not detach from frame for installation. Adapts easily within the specified tolerances of ceiling cutout. Looks absolutely fine in position.
