The SRHA is a premium, single-leaf aluminium roof access hatch, hand-made in the UK to deliver industry-leading thermal efficiency, high security, and safe, gas-assisted operation.
Certified Performance & Insulation:
• Thermal Rating: Achieves an industry-leading U-value of 0.43 W/m²K, thanks to 50mm twin foil backed PIR insulation.• Airtightness: Certified to Air Permeability Class 4 (tested at 100Pa to BS EN 12207), ensuring minimal air leakage and excellent weather protection via dual EPDM seals (Quadruple seals available).
• Insulation Quality: PIR insulation is CFC & HCFC free with an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and GWP (Global Warming Potential) rating of zero, maintaining the thermal integrity of the building.
Construction, Security & Operation:
• Construction: Fabricated from durable 3mm single leaf aluminium with hardened steel hinges, supporting a live load of 200Kg per m².• Safe Operation: Features twin gas assisted struts; one strut includes an auto-lock open feature when fully extended, preventing accidental lid closure without the need for an additional stay.
• Security: Secured with an internal cab lock handle and an external push button for dual-side access. The hatch is also fitted with loops allowing an internal or external padlock (not included) to be fitted.
Finish Options:
• Standard Finish: The default is the mill finish "raw" aluminium.• Optional Finishes: Custom powder coating is available (3-4 weeks lead time), offering single-colour internal/external or a dual-colour option (standard RAL colours).
• Availability: Largest range of stock sizes available for next day delivery.
