A high quality roof hatch fitted with gas struts to gently open to 90° for access. Our sleek design features an aesthetically pleasing low rise polycarbonate dome fitted to a choice of PVC kerbs. The dome cassette is attached to the kerb using innovative security fixings which spin once they reach a certain torque. This means they cannot be accidentally overtightened during installation but also cannot be undone without a specialist tool (one supplied with each hatch). Each hatch is fitted with a secure handle which allows manual opening. The entire range has been independently tested and accredited by the British Board of Agreement (BBA) or by EN 12101 assessments and is CE marked in accordance with BS EN 1873 or EN 12101 testifying compliance with Building Regulations and industry good practice.
DF Kerb - a 100mm PVC kerb designed to be fitted to an existing up stand
150mm kerb - Multi-wall construction with superior thermal performance – Fits straight to roof deck, the kerb foot radius is designed to allow the easy application of roof covering up to the termination point/ membrane clamp.
300mm kerb - Multi-wall construction with superior thermal performance – Fits straight to roof deck Taller kerb useful where additional insulation is being added to the top of the roof
The 150mm and 300mm kerbs slope at a steeper angle than some rival products. This results in a larger daylight area; reduced by only 150mm on each dimension resulting in a greater daylight area (25% on small sizes and 10% on big sizes). Additionally it means a bigger clear area for access.
Kerb height – 150mm and 300mm refers to the membrane termination height, the actual height to the top of the kerb is 216mm and 365mm respectively.
We use UV stable Polycarbonate for our dome cassettes. Polycarbonate is 200 times more impact resistant than glass. The triple glazed dome features 3 separate layers which means there is no cold bridge which can occur when layers touch. This minimises the risk of condensation. Available in 3 colour options.
To comply with Part L Building Regulation requirements roof domes must achieve a U value of 2.2 W/m²K or lower. Our 150mm and 300mm PVC kerbs achieve the following U-Value range
Double Glazed with 150mm or 300mm PVC Kerb 1.6 – 2.1 W/m²K (exceeds thermal requirements of Part L in all sizes)
Triple Glazed with 150mm or 300mm PVC kerb 1.2 – 1.5 W/m²K (exceeds thermal requirements of Part L in all sizes)
Please note the DF kerb is less thermally efficient (Double Glazed 2.7 W/m²K Triple Glazed 1.8 W/m²K)

Our couriers have had to make some changes in order to protect you, and their staff, while also dealing with exceptionally high demand. As a result the following changes apply:
Parcelforce Worldwide Update - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels. This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water.
In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. Our drivers will instead log the first and last name of the person accepting the item and we will record the geolocation of the delivery. This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.
If recipients are unable to come to the door or are self-isolating, we will post a customer contact card in the normal way, advising of other ways the recipient can arrange to get their item. For example, by getting a friend or family member (who is not resident with someone who is self-isolating) to collect the parcel from their local Parcelforce depot or Post Office branch, as specified on the card. They will need to bring along the card we left and a form of ID in the name of the person the item is addressed to. Examples of suitable ID are specified on the card.
Due to the current situation, there are significant impacts on our ability to maintain all our usual service levels. We will continue offering our services, receiving and delivering parcels for our customers but there may be disruptions to some services under current conditions. As a result, we will be suspending service guarantees from 18 March 2020 but will seek to ensure ‘all reasonable endeavours’ to maintain service levels where we can.
