Built to exceed the stringent air permeability testing for new homes. By combining the best draught proofing and insulation, no other loft hatch offers as much potential to reduce heat loss and save on heating as this range does. This slender, hinged loft hatch has very clean lines and is offered with a choice of 3 levels of insulation. It's easy to fit, easy to use and looks incredibly neat.
|Model||Insulation / depth||U-Value||Clear opening||Nominal

|AT25||XPS / 100mm||0.25 W/m²K||520 x
|AT15||PIR / 100mm||0.15 W/m²K||520 x
Insulation values explained
Expressed as U-Values which measures the amount of heat loss through a given material. To comply with Part L of the Building Regulations a loft hatch needs to achieve a U-Value of 0.35 W/m²K. Note because this is a measure of heat loss, the lower the U-Value, the better the performance.
Frame, Lid, Lock and cam: Steel
Finish: Powder-coated white (RAL9016) - Maintenance free, easy to clean, ready painted.
Standard: Twist lock with a tri-drive lock body (Comes with opening key - Pole also available as separate item)
Optional: Key lock available (Key supplied) Please note pole not suitable for use with this option

Easy to fit Fitting is a doddle, just screw fix through the pre-drilled holes in the frame into the surrounding joists. The spring loaded twist catch lock ensures a high compression seal between the door and the frame. The outer frame is also fitted with a seal to ensure air cannot easily escape from around the outer edge of the hatch. No additional sealant is required. Comes with fixing screws and plastic o-ring seals which maintain the air seal between the hatch and the fixings.
Independent testing carried out in accordance with BS EN 1026:2000 and BS EN 12207:2000 for ceiling use only.
This requires testing to be carried out at a pressure of 50 Pascals (Pa). We opted for testing at higher pressures to demonstrate the quality of the product.
