Part L Building Regs: NHBC Poll reveals 84.5% of Industry professionals think Zero carbon target for 2016 unrealistic
What is Zero Carbon and why does it matter? Part L of the building regulations deal with the conservation of fuel and power in buildings. Recent revisions have seen tightening of the regulations to achieve a reduction in CO2 emissions through improved thermal performance and a reduction in draughts. The goal is that all new residential buildings have a zero carbon rating by 2016. Just a quick post to reassure you that our website has not been affected by the SSL ‘Heartbleed’ bug which has hit the news this week. This is because we have Transport Layer Security disabled. In addition we use an unaffected version of OpenSSL (which is an open source tool used to implement online security protocols).
As you might have noticed, we like to post about our smoothies which we make on a daily basis, well almost daily basis. Recipes are a either made up by us or from tried and tested sources.
