Tile Access Panel with lift out door

For accessing building services in tiled walls. This product has a lift out door which is located into the bottom edge of the frame and secured with touch catch locks close to the top edge of the frame. In addition we also supply a safety wire with carabiner clip to prevent the door from being dropped during opening. The lift out door gives a larger clear opening than the equivalent size product with a hinged door.

• Suitable for use with all types of tile up to a thickness of 12mm overall (Tile and adhesive), including porcelain, ceramic, marble, stone, slate, glass, vitrified etc
• Easy to install, door can be removed in seconds, allowing bigger access than the equivalent size hinged door access panel
• Fixing holes in front and side of frame, give a choice of face fixing or side fixing
• Touch catch locks, press to release the door. A safety wire with clip is fitted to prevent the door accidentally dropping when opening the access panel

Fabricated from Zintec steel and powdercoated white, this two piece tile access panel comprises a frame with removable door. The door houses a plasterboard insert which provides a substrate for tiles to be bonded to.

The bottom edge of the door has two locating studs, the top edge of the frame has two press release tocuh catch locks to secure the door. In addition there is a safety wire and clip to prevent prevent the door from being dropped when opened.

Fitting info:

Creating your structural opening - allow + 9mm on each side over the door size.

Fix the frame, tile the door then tile outwards from the access panel.

Cancellations:- Any stock item which is cancelled after having been dispatched, but before you have received it will be subject to a minimum fee of £25.00 + VAT for parcels and a minimum of £70 + VAT for pallets. Bespoke (made to measure) orders cannot be cancelled once ordered.

Returns:
You can return a standard product (most access panels, loft hatches, accessories and Steel / Aluminium Roof Hatches) within 14 days of receipt. Roof domes, Roof Lights, Glazed Roof Hatches and AOV Smoke Vents will be subject to a collection restocking fee.
