Delivery & Returns

A non-fire rated Plasterboard Door Access Panel range designed to be inconspicuous. The frame and door provide a key for the application of a plaster finish. The frame is fitted with spacer pips to ensure a consistent gap between the door and frame. The door is easily removable for fitting of the frame / plastering of the door.

Material and Finish:

Beaded zintec steel frame (powder-coated)/ Plasterboard door insert.

Lock:

Budget Lock – Opened with an 8mm square ended Black Plastic T-Key – Twist a quarter turn to open. The lock is obscured by the push fit plastic bung (colour white).

Fitting Information:

The frame has pre-drilled 5mm diameter fixing holes for easy fitting. The number of fixing points depends on the the size of the panel, please see the 'size information' table for details. Fitting instructions are supplied. Fit the panel before applying the wet finish. It is essential that scrim tape is applied to all perforated edges prior to plastering. If scrim tape is not used the plaster may not adhere to the access panel's frame and cracking will occur.

Note we recommend allowing approximately 5mm over the panel size when creating your structural opening e.g. fit a 150x150mm size panel into a structural opening of 155x155mm

Cancellations:- Any stock item which is cancelled after having been dispatched, but before you have received it will be subject to a minimum fee of £25.00 + VAT for parcels and a minimum of £70 + VAT for pallets. Bespoke (made to measure) orders cannot be cancelled once ordered.

Returns:
You can return a standard product (most access panels, loft hatches, accessories and Steel / Aluminium Roof Hatches) within 14 days of receipt. Roof domes, Roof Lights, Glazed Roof Hatches and AOV Smoke Vents will be subject to a collection restocking fee.
