Loft Eaves Access Door

Make use of loft eaves storage areas without compromising on insulation and draught proofing. This range is highly insulated and air tested to previously unsurpassed levels, achieving a U-Value of just 0.35 W/M²k (meeting the current requirements for lofts as set out under Part L of UK Building Regulations).  In addition the entire range is fire rated to 60 minutes (tested to B.S.476: Part 22:1987 face side only) and achieves a superb acoustic reduction of 36dB. Each eaves door is hand made by us in the UK and is delivered pre-finished and ready to fit.

Designed to maintain insulation and draught proofing, while allowing access to eaves space. Constructed from zintec steel, powder-coated white and insulated with 50mm mineral wool. Seals fitted to outer edge of the frame and between the door and frame.

Materials and finish

Fabricated from Zintec steel, insulated with mineral wool slab and fitted with draught seals between the door and the frame and on the back edge of the frame. Finished in a durable white powder-coat, colour RAL9016.

Lock

Fitted with 2no quarter turn lock with chamfered cam to provide compression between door and seal when operated. Key to suit provided.

Eaves access doors are available in the following sizes:
H:900 x W: 400mm with 25mm picture frame
H:900 x W: 550mm with 25mm picture frame
H:900 x W: 600mm with 25mm picture frame
H:900 x W: 750mm with 25mm picture frame

Fitting information

Form a suitable frame on the inside of your structural. Screw fix using through the pre-formed fixing holes. Once fitted the fixings are concealed. Note we recommend allowing approximately 5mm over the product size when creating your structural opening e.g. fit a 900x600mm size panel into a structural opening of 905x605mm

We will continue to send items on a Next working day delivery, but please accept delivery might take longer, this is out of our control.

Please note, for certain products and delivery zones we can offer AM deliveries and Saturday Deliveries, if available, you'll be able to select and pay for these options via the checkout.

Delivery Charges will be applied for deliveries to geographical  areas represented as Zones C and D:

Cancellations:- Any stock item which is cancelled after having been dispatched, but before you have received it will be subject to a minimum fee of £25.00 + VAT for parcels and a minimum of £70 + VAT for pallets. Bespoke (made to measure) orders cannot be cancelled once ordered.

Returns:
You can return a standard product (most access panels, loft hatches, accessories and Steel / Aluminium Roof Hatches) within 14 days of receipt. Roof domes, Roof Lights, Glazed Roof Hatches and AOV Smoke Vents will be subject to a collection restocking fee.
