The Optima Outdoor Spiral Staircase is manufactured from steel, hot dip galvanised after welding, cutting and fettling for the ultimate protection against corrosion, coupled with a black acrylic coated handrail.
The spiral staircase kit offers an interchangeable winding direction during the assembly for a clockwise or anti-clockwise ascent/decent.
The Spiral Staircase comes with a universal landing plate for installation into any shape landing or mezzanine floor.
The Optima Spiral Staircase is offered in 1200mm, 1400mm and 1600mm diameters (well openings).
The spindle spacing comply with the 100mm sphere rule required under current building regulations.
The standard kit contains all components required:
12 treads.
1 landing platform.
Steel supporting structure and railing to the outside of the staircase and for the landing platform to the edge of the ceiling opening.
The standard spiral staircase has an adjustable height, from a minimum of 2735mm to a maximum of 3035mm. Lower heights can be achieved by using omitting risers (no additional components are required).
Additional treads can be purchased to achieve a maximum height of 3505mm.
A riser bar kit is available to enable the Optima Spiral Staircase tread spacings to conform to building regulations requirements.
