The bespoke one hour fire rated key lockable loft hatch has simple contemporary look. The tidy, secure seven-pin radial tumbler lock compliments the unobtrusive look. With its powder coated zintec steel smooth white maintenance free finish. The SDS loft doors do not require painting and project into the ceiling space only 8mm. The Part "L" loft hatch is insulated with 50mm of exposed fire resistant mineral slab insulation. Our bespoke SDSL loft trap has a strong concealed continuous hinge and a flush lid and frame, contributing towards its unobtrusive look. The secure neat lock has a built in chamfer for a smooth closing action and high compression.

In addition to the draught seal between the frame and lid, the SDSL loft hatch has an extra concealed draught seal between the frame and ceiling, providing a phenomenally high air seal rating. This virtually eliminates vapour ingress and/or warm air leakage, it also makes for easy decoration of the ceiling up to the edge of the frame. The loft hatch frame and lid are white colour RAL No. 9010 with 20% gloss. The loft access trap insulation is CFC & HCFC free, ODP zero and compliant to Eco Homes standards of a GWP (global warming potential) rating of zero. When ordering the loft hatch, we would recommend measuring the ceiling cut out (trim size) and deducting 5mm, in case the joists and noggins are not perfectly square. In addition the loft hatch will be hinged on the short side unless stated otherwise. Delivery is 7 days from Tuesday lunchtime order cut-off point.
