One of our contractors has recently installed sunpipes on a couple of jobs, one of the rigid variety and one flexitube, the difference in light between the two was astounding and wondered what your thoughts were as to what percentage difference was in favour of rigid system? JB

One manufacturer who make both state that rigid tube system gives approximately 40% more light than the flexitube types, however I believe a company that has just got BBA approval has tested all verieties to BS standards and the differnce is far greater.
