The laddatrap Mk2 thumb-turn loft doors offer easy access to the roof space. This permits the fixing of a loft ladder for extra convenience.
The ceiling hatch frame is fitted with a draught strip which combines with the thumb-turn to provide an effective compression seal in accordance with current regulations.
This ensures a vapour seal. It eliminates draught and contributes to the overall thermal performance of the house.

The PD25 loft hatch has been designed to comply with the extra 20% energy efficiency over and above building regulation document Part L1A, April 2006.
With a "U" value of 0.25 it is one of the most efficient loft doors available on the market.
With the same positive attributes as the PD35 but utilising insulation manufactured from low lambda expanded polystyrene, and the additive incorporated in the manufacture of the raw material gives it its distinctive colour (only seen from loft or when open) and its highly efficient thermal performance credentials.
The loft hatch offers a 20% improved thermal performance over standard EPS and remains durable for the life of the building, with excellent environmental and sustainability credentials.
The thermal conductivity is 0.03W/mK.
