A roof hatch with a single leaf that includes several innovative features:

Heavy gauge of steel for durability and strength.

Wide gasketing to maximise door/curb seal and a watertight closure.

The roof door and curb are insulated with 25mm of fibreboard. The fibreboard is CFC and HCFC free, ODP zero and has a GWP rating of less than five.

The roof hatch has a weather protected exterior push button handle and a smooth action interior handle.

All roof hatch detail sizes below are "internal clear opening" dimensions.

The roof door has doubled looped steel tabs that can be securely padlocked from the exterior or interior for added security options.

The 343mm roof hatch access upstand has a 102mm base for an easy installation and an integral flashing for weatherproofing.

All edges are rounded for safety.

The hinges are steel butt with brass pins.

The Roof Hatch door is counter balanced with two fully enclosed, counter balanced compression springs, complete with a plastic coated robust hold open arm.

The roof hatch has a primed finish, but can be powder coated as an extra over cost.
